Airports and Airlines
The national airline of Egypt is Egypt Air.
By air, Egypt has three main ports of entry. The Cairo International is located approximately one hour from Heliopolis . Taxis, buses, private cars for rent and hotel limousines, are all available as transport to and from the airport.
The Luxor International is 3.5 miles away from the city of Luxor . Like the Cairo International, Luxor International has a wide variety of transport services that will convey you to the city of Luxor and vice versa.
In Alexandria , the Borg El Arab airport serves incoming and outgoing travelers.
Domestic flights also travel to and from the different major cities and towns of Egypt .
Water Ports
Alexandria , Suez , Port Said and Nuweiba have port facilities that accept international cruise tours. There are also plenty of ferries and private boats that ply their trades up and down the river Nile .
