Egypt 's culinary landscape is a blend of all Arabic specialty foods. They can be found most anywhere you are in Egypt . The best places to dine on Egyptian cuisine would be at specialty restaurants or hotels.
Egyptians specially like cooking roast pigeon, kebabs, bean dishes or “foul” and chickpeas. Of course, cuisine comes hand-in-hand with beverages. Egyptians start most of their day with Kahwa. Its another word for coffee but strongly blended and rather thick. They also like mint tea and Aswanli, which is a dark beer brewed in Aswan . The more exotic drinks are Zibib which is a beverage flavored with aniseed and Karkaday which exhibits a bright red, clear texture that is made from hibiscus flowers.
